Yay! My first rant/rave. And guess what. It’s about Christians! Those lovable old religious types. They have some incredibly crazy beliefs. I’ll start on the most obvious, and the most talked about. The evolution vs. creationism debate. You may have already guessed by now, that I thoroughly discourage creationism. Now, I’m not one of those anti-religious types, who thinks religion is all bad, because it’s not, but I choose not to believe in Christian beliefs, because I find most of it, simply unfathomable. Jonah and the Whale, Adam and Eve, God talking to Abraham etc.
Now, on the topic of creationism vs. evolutionism, I have struggled to find any serious evidence for creationism, except (forgive me) the ravings of people who have chosen to believe in the crazy stories told by people who were most likely crazy. I can honestly find no other real evidence (from a 5 minute search on Google). Now, on evolutionism, there is too much evidence. Now, Christians claim that everyone is descended from Adam and Eve. How can this be possible. Seeing as evolution destroys this. Humans would not have survived dinosaurs. And besides that, there is clear evidence, that humans evolved from a more primal, ape like form, while christians make out Adam and Eve to be the perfect couple, today’s Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas. Also, there is absolutely no evidence that any of the stories in the bible happened, or that God exists.
Ah, God. We come to the topic, where I will make my point, of why I think God doesn’t exist. God’s WHOLE existence, is soley based on people’s faith. Now, if people didn’t have faith that God existed, God couldn’t exist. Which means, if the population of the world suddenly came to a conclusion, that God didn’t exist, then he wouldn’t, which mean’s he wouldn’t be a physical presence, and would just be a belief. Now that nobody believes, in God, therefore he doesn’t exist, which would also mean that, he wouldn’t exist even if people still had faith, because God is just something people keep faith in, and is no physical presence. In addition, there isn’t a solid shred of evidence that God exists anyway, except for the word of a few men. And there is no way Jesus could have been God’s son, as a belief cannot make a woman pregnant. As a belief doesn’t have sperm, or a penis, or a sexual manner, as it isn’t a physical presence. My point proved.
In short, all Christians are deluded into thinking that all this is true, based on the word of a few people. So it is all just faith, and nothing solid. Thank you.
